Senior Adults
Overview
Senior Adult ministry seeks to inspire, encourage and equip seniors for life’s challenges in the second half of life. We provide spaces for community, in-depth teaching of the Bible related to our daily lives, support for those with discouraged hearts and motivation to pass on a legacy of faith to the next generations. Our goal as a ministry is to strengthen the families of our church to engage with one another and be effective disciple makers.
Pastoral care is always available to those hospitalized or needing personal counsel from the Word.
Gatherings
Sunday: Seniors Discovery Class
On Sunday mornings at 9:30 am in the church gym, Seniors gather together for Bible study, hymn singing, and prayer. For those unable to attend in person, teaching videos are available each week.
Wednesdays: Encore Gatherings
Once each month, the Senior Adults gather for a time of eating and bible study. These are fun, social gatherings which often have a special speaker or presentation. You are welcome here. Call the church office to purchase a ticket in advance.
