Our Elder Board

Our job is to protect the spiritual & organizational health of the church and board (1 Peter 5: 1-4 primarily, and Brentview Baptist Constitution 4.2), to seek the Holy Spirit's guidance in casting vision for the future, and to encourage and hold accountable our executive in these areas. Our tools are spiritual discernment, policy, and rhythm. We make time for discernment and prayer. We create & review policies about accountability, vision, and health and we stick to consistent annual rhythms to ensure governance.
