    Each kid is uniquely and wonderfully made. Throughout their grade 5 year, we will explore their unique giftings using Ephesians 4:11-13 as a guide. They will have opportunities to explore and practice in a safe group of their peers and dedicated leaders.

  • Learn to SEE

    It’s hard to see beyond our own experiences sometimes. Throughout the year, we will work with our grade 5 students to learn how to SEE our communities and neighbours the way God sees them.

  • Choose to Serve

    It all begins with an idea. If we are asking God to teach us to see, we need to be ready to step into the needs He shows us. Throughout the year, our grade 5 students will have a chance, with support from peers and leaders, to pick a project that will meet a need they are passionate about.

G5OG Q&A:

What is G5OG? Grade 5 One Group is a group in alignment with our church-wide One Group model starting Fall 2023. It is a space specifically designed for grade 5’s to thrive! The whole year is designed to give grade 5’s a chance to learn more about themselves, more about who God has made them to be, and give them a chance to love others through action. It is a year designed to set them up well for Student Ministry starting in grade 6.

When and Where? Grade 5 One Group happens during the service on a Sunday morning. We will join the service upstairs for worship and head down to the Downstairs Lounge for the rest of the time.

Special Events? Fun is a huge priority for G5OG! Not just on a Sunday morning but also through special events during the year. Grade 5’s are also invited to join Friday Night Fun Nights once a month from October through May.
