Brentview Retreat

What?

The Brentview Retreat is a weekend for our whole church family to come together outside our regular routines. It’s a time to worship, play, rest, and grow together as we follow Jesus. Think of it as a family reunion with God at the centre, filled with shared meals, meaningful conversations, laughter, and space to encounter His presence.
Who?

This retreat is for the whole Brentview family, whether you’ve been part of the church for decades, just joined recently, or are still exploring what it means to follow Jesus with us. Everyone has a place at the table: kids, teens, adults, and grandparents.
Where & When?

We’ll gather at Camp Caroline, a beautiful setting that gives us room to connect with God and with each other. Away from the busyness of the city, this space helps us slow down, build relationships, and enjoy creation as part of God’s gift to us.

Why?

We retreat together so that we can move forward together. Our love for God is demonstrated in our love for one another, and the retreat gives us space to embody that reality in deeper ways. We worship together, play together, and grow together so that we can be renewed and sent back to Calgary to love our neighbours with the love of Christ.

How much does it cost to attend the retreat?

A great way to save money is by creating a “family” in a room! Take advantage of the family max by finding friends who fill all the beds in the room to reduce the cost for each person.
While Brentview cannot coordinate car-pooling, this is a great opportunity to split gas costs and drive with some friends.
To keep costs low, we will be asking the majority of people attending the retreat to volunteer over the course of the weekend. There will be an opportunity to register for a volunteer role during the check-in process at camp.
