The Scripture & Transformation #3 - Beatitudes

Description

When people begin reading the Bible, they often assume the best place to start is the first page. But the Scriptures are not simply a book to get through; they do not merely offer us information to master. Rather, they are a library that leads us to Jesus and forms us in his way of life.

In this series, we will begin with core passages that help us encounter Jesus, understand the life he invites us into, and become more like him. These words of comfort, challenge, prayer, hope, love, identity, and renewal have shaped generations of his followers—and they can shape us too.

Each week, we will ask not only, What does this passage mean? but, What kind of person is this passage forming us to become?
